A Few Words

A monthly newsletter from Feathers & Whiskey

What This Is

A Few Words is a short, quiet newsletter from inside Feathers & Whiskey.

It’s not an announcement list.
It’s not a content roundup.
And it’s not written to sell you anything.

It’s a brief check-in—what we’ve been working on, what we’ve been noticing, and what’s been taking shape between issues. The kind of conversation that happens at the lunch table, not on a stage.

If you enjoy Feathers & Whiskey for its tone as much as its content, this is where that tone lives most clearly.

Why We Send It

The magazine comes together slowly and deliberately.
A Few Words exists in the space between.

It lets us stay in touch without rushing the work or diluting it. Some weeks it’s reflective. Some weeks it’s practical. Often it’s just a moment to say, this is where things are right now.

At the bottom of each issue, we sometimes set aside a few longer pieces—writing that doesn’t quite fit the magazine, the blog, or social media, but feels worth sharing anyway.

Those pieces live only in the newsletter.

The Angle of Light

There is a moment in early spring when a room tells you it has changed, even though nothing in it has moved yet.
