I saw a spider’s web in the corner of my room the other night.
It only stuck out because of the angle of the light from my lamp.
I promised myself I’ll do something about it later,
but I’ve decided I like the company.
There’s a memory of an old lover in the corner of my mind.
I only remembered her because of the angle of my glass.
